His signature in black sharpie on a 12-inch jersey number
Ephemera signed: "Joe Montana". White 12-inch jersey number (1) signed in black sharpie. On January 29, 2000, the day before Super Bowl XXXIV, it was announced that Joe Montana (b. 1956) had been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The quarterback led Notre Dame to the national college football championship in 1977. Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to Super Bowl victories in 1982, 1985, 1989 and 1990, winning Super Bowl MVP honors in 1982, 1985 and 1990, the only player so honored three times. Montana, who holds the postseason record for touchdown passes and passing yards, spent his final two seasons in Kansas City, leading the Chiefs to the AFC Championship game in 1993. Montana wore uniform #16 with the 49ers and #19 with the Chiefs, so the single digit offered here is the appropriate one for him to sign. Fine condition.
