Color 7½x9½. Fine condition. As the goes, so goes the team. Each of these great quarterbacks led their team to World Championships in the National Football league. Johnny Unitas personified what it is to be great. In the 1958 NFL title game, often called "the greatest game ever played", the New York Giants led Johnny U's Baltimore Colts 17-14 with two minutes left in terh game- "Mr. Clutch went to work. Two long scoring drives later, one in overtime, and the Colts were world champions! Of the passing records Unitas holds, one may forever stand unsurpassed- throwing at least one touchdown in an incredible 47 straight games. In 1969, Johnny Unitas was named greatest all-time NFL quarterback; he is a true legend of the game. Roger "The Dodger Staubach was uncanny in last-minute comebacks, evidence by his famous "Hail Mary touchdown pass to Drew Pearson, defeating the Vickings on the final play of the 1975 wild-card game. Staubach led the cowboys to victories in Super Bowls VI and XII. Terry Bradshaw and the powerful Pittsburgh Steelers won a total of four Super bowls, beating Staubach's Cowboys 21-17 in Super Bowl X and 35-31 in Super Bowl XIII> Bradshaw was picked number one in the 1970 draft, but had several inglorious years until the 1974 season, when he drove the Steelers to their first championship ever in Super Bowl IX. Joe Theismann began his career in 1971 with the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League. By 1978, he was the top-rated quarterback for the Washington Redskins, leading them to a championship victory in Super Bowl XVII. Four items. Framed in the Gallery of History style: 32x28¾.
