McCrea starred as Dick Brunton, a blue collar worker who marries a wealthy socialite (Dorothy MacKaill). Joel McCrea (1905-1990), who was a movie stunt double while still in high school and appearing at the Pasadena Playhouse while at USC, made his film debut in 1927 and had his breakthrough role, in Jazz Age, two years later. In 1946, after making The Virginian, McCrea concentrated on Westerns. In addition to his long list of film credits, McCrea starred on the early 1950s radio show, Tales of the Texas Rangers, and the 1959 TV series, Wichita Town. Lightly creased and stained at blank margins. Upper and lower left corners torn away, chipped at blank right edge. Tack holes at upper right corner. Overall, fine condition.
