Walter Thompson Company. Begins: "This is an agreement covering the services of yourself hereinafter called 'Artist' on the Lux Radio Theatre program on March 24, 1947 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, and for such other rights as are set forth herein." Also signed by a representative of J. Walter Thompson Company. Initials (unknown hand) to right of rep's signature. Joel McCrea (1905-1990), who was a movie stunt double while still in high school and appearing at the Pasadena Playhouse while at USC, made his film debut in 1927 and had his breakthrough role, in Jazz Age, two years later. In 1946, after making The Virginian, McCrea concentrated on Westerns. In addition to his long list of film credits, McCrea starred on the early 1950s radio show, Tales of the Texas Rangers, and the 1959 TV series, Wichita Town. Lightly creased. Lightly soiled at upper blank margin of signature page, paper clip stain at upper left margin of first page. Overall, fine condition.
