uniform, unrelated baseball photos on verso. Outfielder Joel Youngblood (born
in 1951) played for the New York Mets from June 24, 1977-August 4,
1982. The outfielder led the team in home runs (16) and runs (90) in 1979 and
was an All-Star in 1981. Youngblood, who began his career in 1976 with
the Cincinnati Reds, also played for the St. Louis Cardinals
(1977), Montreal Expos (1982) and San Francisco Giants (1983-1988)
before returning to the Reds in 1989. In his 14 major league seasons,
Youngblood had 453 runs, 969 hits and 80 home runs. Lightly creased, light
vertical crease at the flourish of the "d" in Youngblood. Nicked at upper right
corner. Otherwise, fine condition.
