(1921-2002) was largely consigned to low budget science fiction movies after his divorce from
Shirley Temple in 1949 (the 27-year-old actor had married 17-year-old Temple in 1945
after a whirlwind courtship). He later appeared in three Westerns with friend John Wayne
(1969-1971) and was often sought for film and TV character roles. American actor Gregg
Palmer (1927-2015) began his career as a radio announcer and then a contract player for
Universal where he was in a number of Westerns, detective and Sci-fi adventures. He turned to
freelance and television but did not neglect the movies appearing with John Wayne in 6 that
include Chisum (1970), Big Jake (1971), The Shootist (1976), Star Trek (1968), 3 episodes
of Run for Your Life (1965-1967), Get Smart (1966), 77 Sunset Strip (1962-1963) and every
Western series on television! His last appearance was in the mini-series The Blue and The
Gray(1982). Fine condition.
