JOHN BARRYMORE, JR. (born John Blythe Barrymore in 1929), who has also been known as JOHN DREW BARRYMORE since 1958, is the son of legendary actor John Barrymore and actress Dolores Costello. Barrymore, who made his film debut in 1950, has appeared in a number of feature films and guested on a several TV series. He made his final film (Baby Blue Marine) in 1976 and last appeared on the small screen (Kung Fu) in 1972. Barrymore is the father of actress Drew Barrymore and actor John Blyth Barrymore. Actress CARA WILLIAMS, born Bernice Kamiat in 1925, was Barrymore's second wife from 1952-1959. During their marriage, her husband had frequent brushes with the law and was charged with spousal abuse. Williams is perhaps best known for her comedic roles in the TV sitcoms, Pete and Gladys (1961), The Cara Williams Show (1964) and Rhoda. She also appeared on Broadway (most notably in Born Yesterday, 1950) and in feature films. Williams received an Oscar nomination as Best Supporting Actress for The Defiant Ones (1958). Mounting sheet has tape stains at upper blank margin and is chipped at blank left edge. Overall, fine condition.
