from Barth's short story Lost in the Funhouse, the title piece in a
collection published by Barth in 1968. American novelist, short story writer and
educator Barth, born in 1930, began his career with two short
novels, The Floating Opera (1957) and The End of the Road
(1958), both dealing with controversial subjects. His later works include
Giles Goat-Boy (1966), Chimera (1972) and The Tidewater Tales:
A Novel (1987). Lightly toned and creased. Light dents at top edge.
