(1922-2005) was born in Indiana but went to Hollywood to be in pictures.
He signed with Paramount and had his first small part at the age of 26 -
Sorry, Wrong Number (1948) with Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster.
After a few other not great films he stared in Revenge of the
Creature (1955) that attained sci-fi "cult" status. More films in
1956-Three Bad Sisters, Crime Against Joe and Quincannon,
Frontier Scout and then he turned television. Bromfield starred as
Sheriff Morgan in Sheriff of Cochise for 76 episodes (1956-1958) and then
Marshal Morgan for 42 episodes of U.S. Marshal (1958-1960). An outdoor
enthusiast, he retired in 1960 to pursue commercial fishing and hunting - he
emceed Chicago's annual Sportsman's Show in the 1980s. Toned. Small stains
throughout. Corners rounded and creased. Light surface creases. Pencil notes on
verso in unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
