Photograph inscribed and signed: "To A C Lew -/John Dusty King". B/w,
8x10. John "Dusty" King (1909-1987), born Miller McLeod Everson, was a radio
announcer and singer before starring in the title role in the Ace
Drummond serials (1936). After moving to Monogram in 1940, he became the
studio's featured singing cowboy after replacing Bob Livingston in the
Range Busters series in 1942, the year he added "Dusty" to his screen
name of John King. He retired from films in 1946 after making Renegade
Girl. Fine condition.
