Typed Letter on GSA letterhead, signed by the advance man on JFK's fatal trip to Dallas.
Typed Letter signed: "John E. Byrne" as Director of Information, 1 page, 8x10½. Washington, D.C., 1968 December 27. On letterhead of the General Services Administration to Danny Franklin, Sunnyslope, Arizona. In full: "The Administrator has asked me to thank you for your very pleasant letter of December 24 and to send you the autographed photograph which you requested. I regret that we cannot send you one of the photographs of President Johnson which were distributed as a service by the General Services Administration to other Federal agencies to fill their requests. Our stocks of these photographs, which were not paid for by Federal funds, are now exhausted and we will not receive back any of the copies. Sincerely".
