July 2-4, 1999. John Elway (born in 1960), who was an
All-American in college and set many PAC-10 and Stanford U. records,
led the Denver Broncos to three Superbowl defeats before winning back to back
Superbowls XXXII and XXXIII. He was the NFL MVP in 1987, and at the
time of his retirement he ranked second in all-time passing yards with
51,475. In 2000, he was inducted into the College Football Hall
of Fame and into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004. The legendary
quarterback's number 7 jersey has been retired by the Denver
Broncos. Montreal-born Mario Lemieux (born in
1965), was the NHL's 1985 Rookie of the Year, a six-time NHL
scoring leader and three-time Most Valuable Player. He led the
Pittsburgh Penguins to two consecutive Stanley Cup victories (1991,
1992). Lemieux, who retired after the 1996-1997, was inducted into the Hockey
Hall of Fame in 1997. Minor surface creases and scratches (not evident head
