JOHN FORSYTHE The famous actor signed this contract with Aaron Spelling Productions in 1985, the year he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance as Black Carrington in Dynasty Contract signed "John Forsythe" as Player in blue ink and by a vice-president of Aaron Spelling Productions in black ink. Blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 8½x11, 1 sheet, front and verso, Nov. 11, 1985. Forsythe signed this contract so that Aaron Spelling Productions could reuse footage of him from an unspecified production for a trailer, for which he was paid $400. In 1985, Forsythe was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance as Black Carrington in Dynasty. He also appeared as Carrington in the short-lived Dynasty spin-off The Colbys. FORSYTHE (1918-2010) had an uncredited role as the eponymous Charlie in Charlie's Angels, on which Aaron Spelling was an executive director. American actor Forsythe, was born John Lincoln Freund in Penn's Grove, New Jersey, became a star as attorney Bentley Gregg on sitcom Bachelor Father (1957-1962) and is probably best known as crazy-rich oil magnate Blake Carrington on Dynasty (1981-1987), but you may know his voice best as the unseen (and uncredited) voice of Charlie on Charlie's Angels (1976-1981). His career was primarily focused on TV, including hosting duties on the weekly documentary The World of Survival (1971-1977). But Forsythe also put in several memorable movie performances, including In Cold Blood (1967), And Justice for All (1979) and Scrooged (1988). Lightly toned and creased. Lightly creased corners. Folded twice and unfolded. Otherwise in fine condition.
