Regis/15.1.96", in blue ink, 5½x3½. English writer John Fowles
(1926-2005) wrote several celebrated novels, including The
Collector (1963), The Magus (1966), and
The French Lieutenant's Woman (1969), as well
asDaniel Martin. Four of his novels were made into films, with
The French Lieutenant's Woman(1969) earning six Academy Award
nominations in 1981. Fowles also wrote poetry and translated French literary
works. Corners and edges slightly worn. Fine condition.
