Retired Captain of Eastern Airlines sends his autograph to a young
collector. Accompanied by unsigned photo.
Autograph Letter signed: "John H. halliburton", 1 page,
7¼x10½. Coral Gables, Florida, March 31, 1972. On his personal
letterhead, in full: "To: Harry C. Block, Jr. From,
[signature]. Retired Capt. Eastern Airlines. 1931-1971 with Eastern.
Picture [included] taken 1965 when I was Vice President Operations-EAL."
Accompanied by B/w, 4x5 unsigned photo of Halliburton as Vice President of
Operations at Eastern Airlines (creased and toned, otherwise, fine condition).
John H. Halliburton is a retired air pilot who flew exclusively with
Eastern Airlines for forty years (1931-1971). Captain of EAL, Halliburton
also served as the airline's VP of Operations. He was inducted into the EAL Hall
of fame in 1988. Fine condition.
