Typed letter signed: "John H. Mulliken Jr. ", as Deputy Press Secretary to the Vice President, 1 page, 7x9. Washington, D.C., August 18, 1976. To "Dear Mr. Casoni" in full: "Hugh Morrow is in Kansas City with the Vice President, but has asked me to forward to you the attached copy of The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of the United States of America which has been personally autographed by the Vice President. With best wishes, sincerely,". John H. Mulliken, Jr (1922-2004) was the Deputy Press Secretary to Vice President Nelson Rockefeller during President Ford's administration. A graduate of Dartmouth University, class of 1944, Mulliken was also a correspondent to Time and Life magazines. His son, John H. Mulliken III was the founder and president of Trade Alliance Inc., a wholesaler of medical and scientific instruments in Silver Spring, Maryland. Normal mailing folds. Creased.
