Magazine Photograph signed: "John Kerr" in black ink, B/w 8½x11. John Kerr (b. 1931), son of an acting family, went directly from Harvard to Broadway, where he had an important part in Bernadine (1953) and the lead in Tea and Sympathy (1955), repeating the latter role in the 1956 film. Subsequent film appearances included South Pacific and The Pit and the Pendulum (1961). He played district attorneys in two TV series (Arrest and Trial, 1963; and Peyton Place, 1966) before turning to the real practice of law. He continued to make occasional TV guest appearances, most recently in two episodes of City Life (1996-1997). Three filing holes at left. Creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
