titled "Prologue to Glory".

April 15. Lund confirms his acceptance of an offer from the Radio Division of the Theatre Guild
to perform in a 1-hour play entitled "Prologue to Glory", at a radio theatre in New York City on
May 11, 1952. Full compensation for his service, $2,500, will be paid to his agent, The Jaffe
Agency. John Lund (1913-1992) appeared on Broadway stages before becoming a leading
man in a few films of the late 1940s, notably A Foreign Affair (1948), in which he was the
male corner of a love triangle involving Marlene Dietrich and Jean Arthur. He played
film supporting roles through 1962, his last movie being If a Man Answers (1962). He was
Johnny Dollar on CBS Radio's Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar (1952-1954). Lightly toned. Small
tear in top margin. Irregular right edge. Otherwise, fine condition.
