In full: "In consideration of the publicity to be given to me and which may arise herefrom, my consent is hereby irrevocably given to you, your assignees and licensees, and to the Chicago Tribune-New York News Syndicate, Inc., and its subscribers and licensees, to use my name, picture, or portrait, in publications for editorial or promotional purposes, excluding, however, commercial advertising." John Lund (1913-1992) appeared on Broadway stages before becoming a leading man in a few films of the late 1940s, notably A Foreign Affair (1948), in which he was the male corner of a love triangle involving Marlene Dietrich and Jean Arthur. He played film supporting roles through 1962, his last movie being If a Man Answers (1962). He was Johnny Dollar on CBS Radio's Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar (1952-1954). Slightly creased at corners. Lightly soiled. Fine condition.
