Hollywood, California, 1955 June 14. Membership Application for
the American Federation of Television and Radio Actors (Los Angeles local),
following his appearance on Showcase (May 30). Accompanied by carbon copy
of his payment of the initiation fee. Character actor John Milford (1929-2000)
played mostly un-credited films, from Ten Commandments (1955) to
Primary Colors (1998), but he was primarily a TV actor, making dozens of
guest appearances until shortly before his death. He was an especially
frequent face on adventure shows, especially Westerns, including multiple
appearances on The Rifleman, The Virginian and Big
Valley. He was featured as one of Carson's Players on The Johnny
Carson Show, once playing Leonid Brezhnev to Carson's Ronald Reagan. Milford
helped design the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Staple at upper left corner. Lightly
creased at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
