Katie Couric (b. 1957) has been a news correspondent for all three major US networks, featured on such programs as Today, Good Morning America and 60 Minutes. In 2006, she became the first female solo anchor of a network evening news program (CBS Evening News). She is famous for her interviews, including the one with Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaign. In 2011, she left CBS to host a new syndicated daytime talk show, Katie, on the Disney/ABC channel. Couric is active in raising money for research and awareness on cancer, which claimed the lives of her husband and sister. She is donating all the profits from The Best Advice I Ever Got to Scholarship America. While in college in the 1930s, JOHN RAITT began drawing portraits of famous people. He sent his artwork to each subject with a request that it be autographed and returned to him. Two horizontal folds. Staple holes at top center. Otherwise, fine condition.
