Photograph signed; "John Rhys Davies". B/w 8x10 overall, image
7½x8¼, one surface. British actor John Rhys-Davies (born 1944), is one of
the most recognized actors of our time. He began his career teaching at Watton
County Secondary School, won a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and
began appearing on UK television. Film work followed beginning in the 1970s -
from I, Claudius (1976), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), The
Living Daylights (1987), to Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001-2003) and
dozens more. He has scores of voice roles including Aladdin and the King of
Thieves, Cats Don't Dance, Freelancer, The Jungle Book
2 and as Narrator of The Privileged Plant. Ink note (unknown hand) on
