Burbank, California, 1945 May 11. On personal Warner Brothers Studios
letterhead to Dear Victoria. In full: "I want to thank you for your
letter on "The Doughgirls" and my performance in it. It was very thoughtful of
you to write me. I am sorry to have been so long in writing to you but I have
been very busy working and my letters have just had to wait. After "The
Doughgirls" was finished, I did parts in "God Is My Co-Pilot", "The Big Sleep",
"My Reputation", and "The Pride Of The Marines". At the present time I am
working in "Danger Signal". Why not let me know how you like these? Thank you
once again for your letter and your interest. I hope the photograph I sent you
reached promptly. Sincerely," John Ridgeley (1909-1968), known as
"Mr. Average Man", was featured

film roles was in the SF epic When Worlds Collide (1951). The
Doughgirls was released in 1944. Multiple mailing folds. Lightly toned
