Republican John Sherman represented Ohio in the U.S. Senate from 1861-1877 and
1881-1897, authoring the Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890, the first federal act
that outlawed monopolistic business practices. He also served as Hayes'
Secretary of the Treasury (1877-1881) and McKinley's Secretary of State
(1897-1898). Worn. Soiled, creased, stained. Bank cancellation cinching touches
some text and puts a nail head-size hole at "S" of Sherman. Folds, vertical fold
