King (1918-1996) was the Democratic Governor of New Hampshire from
1963-1969. King, who started the first modern state lottery during his
term (1963), had previously served in the New Hampshire House of
Representatives (1954-1962). He later was a New Hampshire State Court
Judge (1969-1979) and a Justice (1979-1981) and Chief Justice
(1981-1986) of the New Hampshire State Supreme Court. Lightly creased at
blank margins and corners. Lightly rippled at left edge and background. Minor
surface creases and impressions, nailhead-size impression and light scratch at
forehead of facial image. Overall, fine condition.
