(1921-2013) was a Nebraska Republican politician. After serving
during WWII as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve, McCollister became
President of his own McCollister & Co., a personal holding company, from
1960 to 1971, and again from 1979-1986. During this time, he became very
involved in the Nebraska Republican Party, serving as a delegate to the Nebraska
State Republican conventions from 1960 to 1970, and as delegate to the 1968
Republican National Convention. In 1970 he was elected as a Republican to the
U.S. Congress, a position he served for the next six years before deciding
to run for Senate, albeit unsuccessfully. He was a presidential elector for
Nebraska in 2000. Lightly toned. Corners rounded. Binding holes in right margin
