Signature: "Johnny Bach/ Warriors" in blue felt tip, 5x3. Johnny Bach (1924-2016) was a former basketball player who became a basketball coach. Bach played in 24 games for the Boston Celtics during the 1948-1949 season. In 1950, he began coaching at Fordham University, becoming, at the time, one of the nation's youngest coaches. He held his coaching position at Fordham for 18 years, eventually transferring over to Penn State for another successful stint. Bach would go on to be an assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls for several years, transferring to a couple more teams (including the Golden State Warriors, as indicated on this signed card), and then finally retiring in 2006. Binding holes along left margin. Various unidentified signatures. Lightly worn at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
