JOHNNY BENCH
The Hall of Fame MLB catcher who spent his entire career with the Cincinnati Reds signed this golf ball in blue felt tip
Golf Ball Signed: "Johnny Bench" in blue felt tip. Johnny Bench (b. 1947) played his entire 17-year major league career with the Cincinnati Reds. Considered the greatest catcher of all time, he was a great player defensively and offensively. He broke Yogi Berra's lifetime record of most home runs as a catcher, won two home run titles, led the league in RBIs three times and was named MVP twice. In his best season (1970), Bench hit 45 home runs, earned a .293 batting average and a .345 OBP, and proved to be a more than capable backstop. He was a core component of the Reds dynasty nicknamed "the Big Red Machine", which peaked with back-to-back World Series victories in 1975 and 1976. Bench was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989, his first year of eligibility. Fine condition.
