Photograph signed: "Johnny Nash". B/w, 8x10. Captioned in lower margin. As a teen musician in the late 1950s, Nash was billed as a rival to Johnny Mathis. His first hit, "A Very Special Love" (1958) was a cover of a Doris Day song. He appeared in a few films, including Take a Giant Step (1959) and Key Witness (1960). His career took a major turn when he toured Jamaica in 1967. His later hits, "I Can See Clearly Now" (1972) and "Stir It Up" (1973) reflected that island's reggae style. Fine condition.
