JOHNNY PAYCHECK. Photograph signed: "Johnny Paycheck". B/w, 8x10 overall, image 7x8¾ (one surface). Johnny Paycheck (1938-2003) is best remembered for his crossover hit, "Take This Job and Shove It" (1978), which inspired a film of the same name with Paycheck in a cameo role. While best remembered for this one hit, Paycheck was a talented country singer, guitarist and songwriter. His violent temper and wild behavior - resulting in more than one jail stint - limited his success. Still, he scored other country hits like "She's All I Got" and "Someone to Give My Love To." Slightly worn at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
