Signature from the actor on a typed letter dated 1984, apologizing
for the delay in response due to his secretary recently retiring
Typed letter signed: "Johnny Seven", 1p, 8½x11. Granada
Hills, California, 1985 May 14. On letterhead of Johnny Seven Enterprises to
Mr. Todd M. Axelrod, Las Vegas, Nevada. In full: "Please forgive my
lateness in responding to your letter of August 23, 1984. My secretary recently
retired and as I was going through our files, lo and behold, there was your
letter. She evidentally (sic) put it away to show me later and forgot
about it. Again, my apologies. Please advise me as to whether or not you can
still use some of my paraphenalia (sic)." Actor Johnny Seven
(1926-2010) has appeared in over two dozen films, including The
Apartment (1960), The Boy Who Caught a Crook (1961) and Gunfight
in Abilene (1967), mostly in supporting roles. He has also acted in two
Broadway shows as well as off-Broadway shows, and Seven has made frequent TV
guest appearances, including a regular roles as Lieutenant Carl Reese on
Ironside (1969-1975) and Detective Contreras on Amy
Prentiss (1974-1975). The multitalented Seven also performed in U.S.O.
shows while in the military, and he has written plays, screenplays and scripts
for TV shows and presentations. Lightly creased. Normal mailing folds. Corners
slightly worn. Fine condition.
