Milwaukee Braves uniform. Batting records for 1959 and career to date shown on

League seasons, most with the Braves in Boston and Milwaukee. The fiery Logan,
who didn't hesitate to charge the mound when he thought tough guys like Don
Drysdale and Bob Gibson were trying to beat him, was the sparkplug of the
1957 Braves World Championship team (and the pennant-winning 1958 squad. He
also led the league in doubles in 1957. A fine defensive shortstop, Logan
handled more chances per game over his career than did Ozzie Smith,
generally considered the best defensive shortstop of all time. He played a final
season in Japan, becoming only the second player to appear in both the US World
Series and the Japan Series (1964). Signature in poor contrast but legible.
Corners lightly creased and worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
