After retiring from his wholesale house, Hopkins Brothers, at the age of 50, Hopkins had become Baltimore's leading finance capitalist. He was President of Merchant's Bank and served on the boards of a number of companies. Irregularly cut. Vertical fold touches the "ns" of Johns. Show through of ink at lower blank margin.
