Joseph Auslander (1897-1969) is perhaps best known for editing several
editions of the poetry anthology, The Winged Horse (beginning in
1929). His own poetry was published in a number of journals and general interest
publications, and Auslander also collaborated on two novels with his wife, poet
Audrey Wurdeman. From 1937-1945, he was the poetry consultant and gifts
officer for the Library of Congress. Slightly soiled at blank margins. File
nicks at blank right edged, chipped at upper edge. Overall, fine
condition.
