JOY HARMON
The blonde bombshell signed this black and white bust view photograph in black marker
Inscribed Photograph Signed: "to Guy-/ Joyfully Yours,/ Joy Harmon" b/w 8x10 photograph
with a quarter-inch border. Joy Harmon, born Patricia Joy Harmon in 1940, is best known
for an iconic scene in 1967's Cool Hand Luke. In a scene that lasts just a few minutes,
Harmon suggestively washes a car in view of the convicts on the chain gang. Harmon's
good looks were also featured in the pin-up magazines of the pre-Playboy era, and most of her
roles, including "Merrie" inThe Village of the Giants (1965), were vehicles for displaying her
physical charms. Her other feature films include Under the Yum Yum Tree (1963), Young
Dillinger (1965) and Angel in My Pocket (1969). She was one of Groucho Marx' two
assistants on the 1962 midseason replacement show Tell It to Groucho. After retiring
from acting, she opened a bakery in Burbank, California. Fine condition.
