Signature: "Joy Hodges", 6¼x4. American actress Joy Hodges (1914-2003) appeared in 13 films, mostly musicals and comedies, from 1935 to 1940. She sang in Broadway shows in the same period. Hodges made some TV guest appearances in the 1950s and early 1960s. Hodges met Ronald Reagan while both were working on Des Moines, Iowa radio station WHO, and they became lifelong friends; she was a frequent guest in the White House. Hodges got Reagan a studio interview after he asked her advice on breaking into films. Two staple holes at left edge. Lightly toned. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
