Signature: "Joyce Burditt/Jan 9., 1978", 5½x8 sheet. Joyce Burditt published her first novel, the semi-autobiographical The Cracker Factory in 1977; it became a made for TV movie starring Natalie Wood. Two more novels followed, including Buck Naked (1996). Burditt, sometimes credited as Joyce Rebeta-Burditt, is also a screenwriter and producer, whose work included Matlock, the Father Dowling mysteries, and Diagnosis: Murder. A former NBC Vice President for Comedy Development, she also works for the Loretta Young charitable foundation. Left edge frayed from previous binding. New paper clipping affixed on verso.
