Signature: "Joyce Burditt/Jan 9., 1978", 5½x8 sheet. Joyce
Burditt published her first novel, the semi-autobiographical The Cracker
Factory in 1977; it became a made for TV movie starring Natalie Wood. Two
more novels followed, including Buck Naked (1996). Burditt, sometimes
credited as Joyce Rebeta-Burditt, is also a screenwriter and producer, whose
work included Matlock, the Father Dowling mysteries, and Diagnosis:
Murder. A former NBC Vice President for Comedy Development, she also works
for the Loretta Young charitable foundation. Left edge frayed from previous
binding. New paper clipping affixed on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
