American actress JUDITH EVELYN (1913-1967) appeared in four Broadway plays, beginning with Angel Street (which became the film Gaslight) in 1941. She had small but well remembered roles in several films, including the alcoholic "Miss Lonelyhearts" observed by Jimmy Stewart in the Hitchcock classic Rear Window (1954), and Mrs. Higgins in Vincent Price's The Tingler (1959). She was seen on many of the TV playhouses of the 1950s. Judith Evelyn and her husband, Canadian radio producer Andrew Allen, survived the sinking of the SS Athena, the first British passenger ship torpedoed by a German U-boat in World War II (September 3, 1939). ARNOLD WEISSBERGER (1907-1981) was a theatrical lawyer who represented many prominent actors and performers. Although the other signers names are identifiable, no relevant information can be found.
