Sommars". B/w, 5x7. American actress Julie Sommars (b. 1942) appeared
in a few feature films (The Pad and How to Use It, 1966; Herbie Goes
to Monte Carlo, 1977), she was primarily a TV actress. Beginning with an
appearance on The Loretta Young Show in 1960, she worked steadily in the
medium into the early 1990s. Although she was seen in Westerns (including
several episodes of Gunsmoke) and other genres, she appeared most
often in classic detective series. Besides her recurring role as DA Julie
March on Matlock (1987-1994), she appeared in a who's who of crime
offerings: Perry Mason, The Fugitive, The Rockford Files,
Magnum, P. I., McCloud, Diagnosis: Murder and Barnaby
Jones, to name a few. Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
