Document signed: "Julie Stafford" in ink. Blue ink notations in unknown hand. 2 pages, 6½x9, 1 sheet, front and verso. December 28, 1961. Membership form for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists as a dancer-showgirl. At the time of this AFTRA application, Stafford was scheduled to appear on an episode of The Red Skelton Show (1951-1971) was hosted by - who else? - Red Skelton. The show was mainly comedy sketches with characters that Skelton had made famous, like Cauliflower McPugg, Clem Kadiddlehopper and Freddie the Freeloader. There were also musical performances, including an early American TV appearance by the Rolling Stones. The Red Skelton Show won a Golden Globe in 1959 for Best TV Show and two Emmy Awards, including one for Best Comedy Series. Form is lightly creased and toned at edges and corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
