Julius Boros signs a black and white magazine cover from July 1963 for "USGA Golf Journal".

Shown with Francis Ouimet, left, winner of the Open in 1913, and John M. Winters, Jr., USGA President. Affixed in lower right is a 3x2¼ list of the top scores and money winnings from the 1963 U.S. Open, a tournament Boros won in an 18-hole playoff. He bested Jackie Cupit by three strokes, Arnold Palmer by six! Boros (1920-1994) won 15 PGA tournaments. His best years were 1952 and 1963, in each of which he won the U.S. Open, led the tour in winnings and was named Player of the Year. In 1968, he won the PGA Tournament, becoming the oldest player ever to win one of the majors. Never a long driver, Boros excelled with pin point accuracy. He was elected to the PGA Hall of Fame in 1984. Fine condition.
