Postmarked Nashville, Tennessee, Southern Postcard Co. As a child, June
Carter Cash (1929-2003) was part of the Carter Family music group, regulars at
the Grand Ole Opry. She met country music superstar Johnny Cash in 1961,
accepting his on-stage marriage proposal in 1968. An accomplished songwriter,
she penned several of Johnny Cash's biggest hits, including "Jackson", "Ring of
Fire" and "If I Were a Carpenter". June Carter Cash won her third Grammy award
for her solo album, Press On, in 1999. Crease visible on her face but not
touching signature. Surface scratches (not visible head-on).
