Clayworth (1912-1993) had prominent roles on Broadway (Are You
Decent, Torch Song, Once in a Lifetime) before signing a
film contract with Universal in 1934. Her debut with that studio was in
The Good Fairy the following year. Clayworth's most critically praised
film was The White Tower, with Claude Rains (1950), directed by her
husband, Sidney Rogell. She appeared in a few TV series of the 1950s,
including Wagon Train and Perry Mason. Lightly toned. Minor
unknown residue at bottom edge (not affecting signature). Otherwise, fine
condition.
