blue ink. Extremely Rare!
Photograph Signed: "Katherine Grey", Sepia, 6¾x9. Katherine
Grey (1873-1950) was an American stage actress, born in California, who
found her start at the American Theatre in New York. Her first credited
appearance on the stage was in the 1895 original production of The Great
Diamond Robbery. Between 1895 and 1940, Grey was cast in twenty-five
original plays and two revivals including The Last Appeal (1902),
The Reckoning (1907), Gold (1921), A Hundred Years
Old (1929), and her last appearance as Mrs. Lacroix in the 1940 original
Delicate Story. She was married twice, once to Paul Arthur, and
once to John B. Mason who was also a stage performer. Grey died in Massachusetts
in 1950. Corners lightly creased. Minor surface creases (not effecting
signature). Toned at edges on verso. Lightly rubbed on verso. Ink mark (unknown
hand) on verso (no show-through). Otherwise, fine condition.
