First Day Cover Signed: “Kathie Lee” in blue felt tip pen on a 6½x3½ envelope. This first day of issue envelope honors Valentine's Day and features a printed image of cupid and his bow. Postmarked Boston, Massachusetts, February 1, 1982. Twenty cent stamp affixed. FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. A featured singer on Name That Tune from 1977-1978, Kathie Lee Gifford's (b. 1953) big break came in 1985 when she joined The Morning Show, later renamed Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, starring on this daytime program from 1985-2000. Married to former football great Frank Gifford from 1986 until his death in 2015, Gifford also markets successful lines of cosmetics and exercise videos. She continues to sing on telethons and in live club performances. She returned to live television as co-host of the Today show in 2008. The actress has also racked up dozens of appearances on different television shows, including Seinfeld, Touched by an Angel, and Days of Our Lives. Slight wrinkling on image, not visible.
