The actresses and actor sign on a 7½x7½ album leaf inscribed "To George"

Screen, television and minstrel actress LOUISE BEAVERS (1902-1962) is best known for her role in the 1934 film, Imitation of Life, and in the title role on the TV series, Beulah (1952-1953). She appeared in almost 100 films in the 1930s. In 1950, Beavers starred as Jackie Robinson's mother in The Jackie Robinson Story starring Jackie Robinson as himself. Actress KATHLEEN HUGHES appeared in a number of feature films, including 1940's Mother is a Freshman, mentioned in this caption, and The Glass Web (1953). Before making his film debut, BUDDY BAER (1914-1986), was best known for his boxing career. In the eight years that his boxing career lasted, Baer competed in fifty-nine fights, earning himself fifty-two wins (forty-six of those being knock-outs.) His boxing career reached its highest points when Baer attempted, twice, to win the heavyweight boxing championship from Joe Lewis. However, he never succeeded in winning the championship. Baer made his onscreen debut in the 1937 film Take it From Me. During his acting career, Baer was cast in over thirty-five titles including The Big Sky (1952), Slightly Scarlet (1956), The Bashful Elephant (1962), and the last role of his acting career as Mr. Kratz in the 1966 film Ride Beyond Vengeance.
