KATHLEEN TURNER
Black and white publicity photograph of Kathleen Turner in Crimes of Passion.
Photograph signed: "All The Best!/Kathleen/Turner". B/w, 8x10 overall, image 7½x8 (one surface). Captioned at lower margin: "'CRIMES OF PASSION'/SOMETHING BORROWED, SOMETHING BLUE...Kathleen Turner stars as a fashion designer with an exotic alter ego, called China Blue, who becomes involved with John Laughlin, who portrays a man trapped in a stale marriage in Ken Russell's 'Crimes of Passion,' a New World Pictures release, which also stars Anthony Perkins." This film was released in 1984, the same year that Turner starred in the romantic adventure, Romancing the Stone, and she also appeared on the big screen in A Breed Apart. Actress Kathleen Turner (born Mary Kathleen Turner in 1954) burst onto the movie scene in a star-making blaze when she was cast as femme fatale Matty in the neo-noir thriller, Body Heat (1981). Some of her other well known films include The Man with Two Brains (1983), Prizzi's Honor (1985), Peggy Sue Got Married (Academy Award nomination, 1986), War of the Roses (1989) and The Virgin Suicides (1999). In 1988, Turner gave a sexy performance as the voice of Jessica Rabbit in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Minor surface creases (not evident head on). Light stain and minor paper loss at Laughlin's shoulder. Ink note (unknown hand) and stamp on verso (no show through). Light black mark at lower right margin. Overall, fine condition.
