Photograph signed: "Keith Baxter". B/w, 8x10. British actor Keith Baxter (b. 1933) had his first starring film role as Prince Hal (the future Henry V) to Orson Welles' Falstaff in Welles' condensation of five Shakespeare plays, The Chimes at Midnight (1967). He had won a Theatre World Award (1962) for portraying another ruthless English King Henry (VIII) in the Broadway run of A Man for All Seasons (1962), which was his Broadway debut. In addition to his stage work, Baxter also appeared in appeared in both feature films (The Barretts of Wimpole Street, 1957) and made-for-TV movies, including Merlin (1998). Lightly creased in upper left corner. Photographer's stamp on verso (no show through). Fine condition.
