KEITH CARRADINE
Signed b/w movie still from The Long Riders, with Carradine, Randy Quaid, Stacy Keach and James Keach in dusters and on horseback.
Inscribed photograph signed "To William,/Keith Carradine". B/w, 10x8 overall, 9¼x6½ image, one surface. Movie still from The Long Riders (1980). ©1980 United Artists Corporation. Carradine is shown in this shot with Randy Quaid, Stacy Keach and James Keach. He played Jim Younger of the James-Younger gang. Carradine, born in San Mateo, California in 1949, is a multi-faceted entertainer, with acting credits on stage, film and TV, not to mention an Academy Award for his song I'm Easy from Nashville (1975), as well as a shared Grammy nomination for Nashville's soundtrack. Carradine often plays a villain, got a chance to stretch as the folksy, wisecracking title character in the original Broadway production of The Will Rogers Follies (1991-1993, 981 performances), a performance that earned him a Tony nomination for Best Oscar in a Musical. He's from the Carradine acting family, which includes father John and brother David. However, his acting career almost ended before it could get started. He dropped out of Colorado State University's theatre school after one semester. Soon after dropping out, though, Carradine was picked up as a replacement actor in the original Broadway production of Hair. He's since gone one to accumulate acting and music credits in over 120 movies and TV shows since 1970. Lightly creased and bowed. Vertical striations on image (not visible head-on).
